Unsure of breakdown on how many were factory V/8 4-speeds with rear hatch wiper option from California as majority of pace cars were built in Dearborn, MI. Original rock solid western body with original paint and stripes. Pro’sSuper nice dry Body.Rare rear hatch wiper option. (not many had)Beautiful dash and dash pad complete with Indy emblem.Nice thick leather Indy original steering wheel.Beautiful interior door panels with no UV breakdown on tops. With 2 real nice soft pliable armrests.Intermittent front wipers.Comes with 4 very nice original Metric TRX wheels with no tread tires that hold air. (shown)Factory twin chrome exhaust tip section shown in photo will come with vehicle inside car.Tires on vehicle have INDY 500 wing embossed on side wall.Front end clip is complete with all parts from top to bottom as delivered new.Super nice doors with excellent dry bottoms.Rock solid structure underneath, shock towers top to bottom and unibody frame rails etc.Rear wiper hatch lip is rust free under lip edge all across hatch.Rock solid floors top and bottom as with rest of body with exception or sunroof area and both small areas by rear mud flaps that have been noted.Winning bid will receive an original great running and driving 1982 Mustang gt 5.0 H/O engine and 4-speed transmission still together and pulled as one unit with all accessories, emissions and wiring from a good running vehicle to install for an inexpensive fix.Pace car 4-speed transmissions shifts well. Power steering works well.Vehicle comes with extra pace car hood and scoop.Clean, clear title in my name.The end vin# was purposely omitted as this vehicle has yet to be listed in any registry. New owner can do that if desired.Comes with both extra complete upper and lower ford original stripe kits in original cartons. Also have a complete silver 82 gt t-top available with everything attached to it to be removed with clean rust free complete doors close to same color with all glass instead of sunroof section. All available for extra fee to convert from sunroof to t-top. Con’sEngine needs rebuild due to low compression in one cylinder. But winning bid get’s a good 1982 Mustang gt 5.0 H/O engine and 4-speed transmission complete with everything to install as one unit for an easy inexpensive engine fix.Needs carpet.Needs hatch area carpet.Needs headliner.Needs both sun visor’s replaced, old one’s are there with hardware.Needs both rear speakers and plastic grilles. (Original wire connection plugs for speakers still there and not cut for easy install of original speakers.Needs both plastic rear shock cover plates.Needs exhaust.Has cracked windshield.Needs new rear hatch key lock. Was told lock set it is not made for the early fox for 79.only 81-up.Needs Recaro seats and both rear cushions or just use seats in vehicle now. All seat belts function and match current seats.Comes with extra console frame to repair the broken one.Roof around sunroof has rust issues that can be repaired as so many of them did due to bad design and owner neglect from not cleaning sunroof frame and rubber tubes occasionally from dirt. It will come with an original paint sunroof section (shown if you don’t want to repair) to use for repair that comes with skin, sunroof frame, hoses and extra flip up glass sunroof panel. Extra part can also be trimmed down from picture to ship with vehicle if you just want the small skin and sunroof frame section without the whole roof.Two small 50 cent piece size holes at rear mud flaps that have been on the vehicle many years collecting dirt that need repair on skin side. Underneath is still rock solid (see Pic’s). A quick easy fix. This would make an excellent build for someone who is trying to repair major structural rust to save their pace car.Would be more cost effective to swap your parts onto this vehicle with the missing items needed on this vehicle to make a nice solid restoration. Again, winning buy it now bid obtains the extra nice original TRX wheels shown with tires, a perfect original paint clean rust free metal sunroof section, Original Ford chrome twin exhaust tip section shown for originality.
