Comp-Tac Spartan Holster – H&K VP9SK – Right Hand. New without tags. Ships free. The Spartan is an inside the waistband (IWB) leather and Kydex hybrid holster for concealed carry. Designed to be worn behind the hip at 4:00 or 5:00, the Spartan is a more economical version of the Minotaur MTAC that provides comfortable concealed carry. -2 Mounting Clips – Spread the Weight of Larger Firearms -Tuckable Design- Tuck in Shirt Over Firearm -Belt Cant Adjustable -Change the Cant for Optimal Carry Comfort. -Ride Height Adjustable- Get your Perfect Grip. The Spartan’s leather backing is the most comfortable material holsters can be made of. It provides a soft flexible material that when placed against the body does not rub or pinch. The Spartan backing is only a single layer of leather which allows the hardware to show and be felt on the backside. Since there is nothing on the rear side of the hardware you may need to add moleskin to keep the hardware from pinching or rubbing your skin. The Kydex body on the Spartan provides a rigid material that is fit to each firearm and maintains its shape even with the pistol un-holstered. The smooth low friction surface allows for a fast draw and easy one-handed re-holstering of the firearm. The all-Kydex body will not bend or stretch over time and is impervious to sweat and solvents. The Spartan’s Kydex body is also interchangeable allowing you to have one holster for all of your firearms. CHECK OUT MY OTHER STUFF! If you are buying a new or good condition all LEATHER holster from me it will need breaking in. Different brands require more break in than others. Breaking in a good leather holster is mandatory for it to function; when it is new you may not be able to draw the firearm from it as quickly as you might need it. After you have checked the holster for suitability and broken it in correctly, then you can bet your life that it will hold the gun securely, protect the gun from inadvertent access, and allow you to get the gun quickly when you need it. There are plenty of articles online for breaking in a leather holster. I get many messages about the thumb snap (if applicable). The thumb snap is difficult to get snapped on many holsters when you first get it. You have to work leather. Bottom line, if you get it and it is not fitting the high percentage of time is that you have not seated it fully or worked it fully. One method I enjoy is wrapping the pistol, unloaded, in a plastic wrap or bag and stuffing that into the holster overnight or for a few days. If you are purchasing a holster please make sure you have a proper gun belt. All holsters should be worn with a proper gun belt. Also, all holsters should be worn with the belt fully tightened, but not uncomfortable. Never wear your holster loose, sagging pants, or without a proper gun belt.
