A well-made vintage hunting knife manufactured circa 1928-1948 by A. Feist & Co. in Solingen, Germany under “Luna” trade mark. This is an excellent quality vintage Hunter-Skinner in rare unused condition with original brown leather sheath included. This knife has a genuine European split-stag handle with a solid aluminum pommel and bras half-guard. Colored fiber and brass washers on ends; all parts are tight with no play. The knife is about 9-1/8″ / 23.2 cm overall; carbon steel blade is about 5-1/8″ / 13 cm. Original factory edge is very sharp; the tip is intact; a couple of minor hairlines are noted for accuracy. The sheath is also unused. The leather is soft and supple; original stitching, rivets and keeper are intact; name Louis Vetrano is written on the back panel.
