This listing is for a vintage gunpowder measure with original wood handle and measure cap. The cap is marked on bottom: B.G.I. CO. PAT. FEB. 25, 1890. One side has an adjustable scale marked POWDER DRS with numbers from 2-1/2 up to and including 5 and opposite side is marked SHOT OZ. with number from 1 up to and including 2-1/4 (adjustable slots work). The piece is in very good condition with no flaws, as seen in photos. The piece measures approx. 5-1/2″ long. When packed SECURELY for shipping, the weight is 7 ounces.
